Information and Policies Terry-a-While Motel is special! It's family! We're located between Waldport and Yachats on Highway 101. Our units all have large windows and decks with path leading to a panorama of flat sandy beach. In the early 1900s this flat sandy beach with the only highway from Waldport Yachats. The area surrounding us prides itself to make your stay a memorable one, with sportfishing, clamming, crabbing and whale watching, along with boating, windsurfing or just plain sunbathing. A scenic drive up the Alsea River offers a beautiful landscape of views, not to forget great salmon fishing. We have something for all the young and the old. Now free WiFi! RESERVATIONS: We recommend reservations in advance. Our policy is all major holidays, spring break and summertime is a THREE NIGHT MINIMUM. Two night reservations are taken for all other times. No one night reservations, please. You are financially responsible for all night you have reserved. There will be no refunds made on any nights canceled. Visa/MasterCard credit cards accepted; personal checks only with bank checked guarantee card. All reservations must be guaranteed by a deposit equal to half of the nights reserved. At the time of making your reservation, you have five days to confirm with a deposit or your reservation is automatically canceled. The balance due on your reservation must be paid upon check-in. Check-out time is 11 AM; check-in time is 4 PM. Please notify us if you'll be arriving after 8 PM. CANCELLATION of reservations is thirty (30) days prior to your check in date. If the room is re-rented for the same days canceled you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 handling fee. HOUSEKEEPING: We strictly enforce our housekeeping rules. Our units are to be left in the condition they were rented. All dishes are to be cleaned, dried, and put away. If the unit is not left in the condition it was found, there will be a cleaning fee charged to your account, so please be considerate to all rooms. The condition of the unit is taken into consideration if or when you request future reservations. We DO NOT ALLOW any firewood to be taken to the beach for beach fires. Firewood is strictly for the fireplace in the unit. Please, no crab cooking in the units. There will be no refunds made on holidays or summer reservations cancelled after the 30 days prior to check in dates. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All kitchen units are fully equipped. All rates subject to 10% room tax. Each additional person is $10.00 per day. Extra People (more than what the unit accommodates) is $25.00 per day, per person including visitors. CANCELLATIONS: We charge a cancellation fee for ALL cancelled reservations. For a refund of your deposit (minus cancellation fee of $25.00 per unit), we MUST be notified at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel your reservation before the 30 day limit, you will receive a refund of your deposit, minus a cancellation fee (of up to one night's rent), ONLY if we are able to re-rent your unit for all the days of your reservation. DAMAGES: You are financially responsible for all damages during your stay. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. Room rates are subject to change. |
